The Club was formed in 1956, the first of its kind in Australia, with the object of Preserving, Restoring and using Veteran, Vintage and Post Vintage Motorcycles. Membership is open to all and owning a suitable machine is not a pre-requisite. Machines must be at least 30 years old in the current year to be eligible for Club Events The Club has a strong family orientation and features many social activities as well as Runs and technical help. The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month in the Payneham RSL Club, 360 Payneham Road, Payneham commencing at 8.00 p.m. Annual Fees are due by the 30th June each year. A joining fee of $15.00 is applicable to new members. The Annual Subscription is $40.00 to all members city and country. Ian Hese has reported on the Festival of Motorcycling (FOM) events program which includes two events where VVMCCSA will be promoting (last magazine I had incorrect dates). Sunday 3rd October 2021 - 20th ‘Motorcycle only Swap Meet’ on Sunday at Balhannah Oval. Monday 4th October 2021 - VVMCCSA ‘65th Anniversary Rally’ Monday at Mannum. Mannum day is open to all members of VVMCCSA and participants of FOM. We will be advertising to entrants the achievements of VVMCCSA over 65 years. Trophy presentation night—Tuesday 8th June 2021. All trophy's are to be returned by the end of May to enable those trophy’s be endorsed with the recipient. Annual General meeting—Tuesday 13th July 2021. All committee positions will be vacated, enabling any member to nominate to a committee position. If you required information on a committee positions, please email the secretary for a document on your desired position. Log Book day. This will happen on 27th June 2021at 2 locations, 1/ Payneham RSL clubrooms 10am to 12 noon, and 2/ Clarks’s residence on Blewitt Springs Rd, Blewitt Springs. 10am to 4pm. There will be only one (1) log book day as above. If you cannot attend this day, then you will be required to post your log book’s, registration papers and current membership card for log book endorsement with a returned stamped envelope. Club events will continue in 2021 as planned on the 3rd Sunday, but if Covid-19 regulations change, then this will effect club events. Brian Forth. President. Kenneth Harold OLSSON, passed away on 6th April 2021 aged 91. Ken, member 183, was a long and active club member involved in Anniversary rally’s and general club rides and a regular at- tendee at the clubs 24hr road control duties. Ken was a quietly spoken gentlemen was a lovely guy never outspoken. Always ready for a chat and ever ready assist with help or advice. Going to miss you old friend. RIP Ken.
