Currently there are numerous such games happening every Easter and December holidays, and they have formed part of the soccer calender where the communities even demand that these games be organised since they have become part of the family holiday past-time and entertainment. SPONSORSHIPS There are various instances where there is no Financial backing for these off-season games, forcing the organiser to use the teams registration fees as OFF-SEASON part of the prize money. The crowds in these games arrive as early as 09:00 and stay for the whole day as the last game is played around 17:00. During this period music entertainment is provided while also affording informal businesses an opportunity to display and sell everything from sweets, drinks and meals to the crowds gathered. 7 Ndofaya Easter Challenge 2013 he Ndofaya Easter Challenge is the brainchild of Thabeng Management, that was organised as an Talternative for teams who could not be accommodated at other tournaments due to the limited number of teams required. Thabeng Management saw it as an opportunity to create an additional platform in as far as the Kasi tournaments are concerned, especially in the Meadowlands(Ndofaya) area where there are lots of teams coming from the surrounding areas wanting to participate in the games. The Ndofaya Easter Challenge has been a prominent feature of the Easter Tournaments in the Meadowlands area, and has attracted teams widely in the areas like Meadowlands, Orlando, Braamfischerville, Dobsonville, Zola, Jabulani, Mofolo and Naledi. The event is comprised of 16 teams The Tournament has been in existence for the past four years, and has grown in stature to become Ndofaya’s finest event for Easter Holidays. The event is comprised of 16 teams and is played on a knockout basis over the four Easter Weekend days, and the semi-finals and finals being played on Easter Monday.
