(LEVEL 2) Water entry by stepping or jumping from the side, fully 8:00 1:00 9:00 12:00 9:00 2:30 10:00 1:00 submerging and holding breath, bobbing, open eyes under water 10:00 3:30 11:00 2:00 Ages 6-15 and retrieving objects, various floating, recover from back float or 11:00 4:30 glide to vertical position, back glide and combined arm and leg 5:30 Intermediate action on front and back, and basic pool safety. Ratio 3:1 This level is recommended for swimmers who are: Learning intermediate aquatic skills that are comfortable in water. (LEVEL 4) Headfirst entry from the side in a compact and stride position, 8:00 1:00 9:00 1:00 9:00 2:30 11:00 2:00 swim under water 3-5 body lengths, feet first surface dive, survival 11:00 3:30 Stroke swimming, front crawl and backstroke open turn, tread water, 4:30 Development push off in a streamline position on back and begin flutter and 5:30 dolphin kicks, front crawl (25 yards), breaststroke (25 yards) 6:30 Ages 6-15 butterfly (15 yards), elementary backstroke (25 yards), back crawl (15 yards), and sidestroke (15 yards). Ratio 4:1 This level is recommended for swimmers who are: Advanced in stroke development and are now learning new strokes. SHARK Skills include: A.M. P.M. A.M. P.M. (LEVEL 5) Shallow-angle dive from the side, continue in a glide after dive 8:00 12:00 9:00 12:00 9:00 6:30 10:00 and begin front stroke, tuck and pike surface dive, front and 10:00 Stroke Refinement backstroke flip turn, tread water for 5 min., front crawl (50 yards), breaststroke (25 yards), elementary backstroke (50 yards), back Ages 6-15 crawl (25 yards), standard scull (30 seconds), and sidestroke (25 yards). Ratio 4:1 This level is recommended for swimmers who are: Learning advanced stroke refinement. SWORDFISH Skills include: A.M. P.M. A.M. P.M. (LEVEL 6) Able to complete front crawl (100 yards), elementary backstroke 11:00 1:00 11:00 1:00 5:30 (100 yards), backstroke (50 yards), breaststroke (50 yards), Stroke Proficiency sidestroke (50 yards), butterfly (50 yards), You will learn the following swimming transitions: front and back Ages 6-15 crawl open turn, front flip turn, backstroke flip turn, sidestroke turn, butterfly turn, breaststroke turn (all transitions made while Ratio 4:1 swimming), circle swimming, and endurance. This level is recommended for swimmers who are: Preparing to join a swim team or competitive swimming. ADULT LESSONS Skills include: P.M.
