This programme is financed by the European Union. Hosting Institutions Catalogue IMPORTANT NOTICE: Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme “Hosting Institutions Catalogue” aims at diversifying the scholars throughout EU Member States. Therefore, the Catalogue incorporates a number of programmes that award MSc, MA, MRes, MPhil, LLM degrees in English Language in various EU Member States. The Programme covers all acredited universities and similar institutions in the EU Member States. Applicants are totally free to choose the EU Member State and the university or similar institution by themselves. However, the prestige of the university or similar institution is important from the perspective of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme. In addition, the programme chosen by the applicant should be up to max.12 months, in line with the field of study and the EU official languages indicated in the application form. Applicants could apply for any programme in the context given above. Jean Monnet Scholarship applicants are advised that they should make their applications to eligible programmes in accordance with the above mentioned criteria and submit their offer letters to the Jean Monnet Programme Office when they are awarded. The applicants could choose one of the programmes presented in this catalogue. However, the applicants are also free to apply for other programmes that are not included in the Catalogue. Even if the applicants select the programmes given in the Catalogue, the Jean Monnet Evaluation Committee retains the right to give the final decision on the admission of the scholars, as to ensure the balanced distribution of the scholars throughout the EU Member States and the compliance of the programmes with the fields of study. It is worth mentioning that facts and figures within the catalogue are prepared through the courtesy of the Embassies of EU Member States in Turkey, as well as universities in the EU Member States. Under the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, programmes in which the scholars would enroll do not necessarily have an equivalency degree by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey. Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Office could not be held liable or responsible for the Equivalence Degree of the Council of Higher Education regarding the programmes given in this catalogue. It is solely the award holders’ responsibility to check the issue of equivalence degree of the programmes that they would apply.
