Michel Cantet, President -10- -11- PERSPECTIVES In our previous Annual Report, we announced the decision of PN’s Board of Directors to embark on a learning journey to adjust to the evolutions of our environment: ● Constant evolution of the Asian economic, social and educational environments ● Rapidly changing workplace environments. ● Shifting expectations towards the workforce in the IT and digital sector ● New educational alternatives for underserved youngsters, ● Funding challenges in a more “competitive” and “demanding” environment. Little did we know at the time that the world would soon be entering, early in 2020, into an unprecedented worldwide crisis, where the COVID 19 pandemic would accentuate the impact of digitalization in our current workplace and society, as well as the divide between those with access to TECH and/or digital literacy and those without. We cannot help looking back at 2019 with those insights in mind, and our strategic journey then suddenly takes on a different perspective and a greater urgency. In 2019, PN invested time, effort, resources, and the contributions of all of PN’s Stakeholders (Board Members Directors, Managers, Teams and NICOLA CROSTA Partners), supported by the assessment and the guidance of skilled experts CEO & FOUNDER, IMPACT46 and professionals, into analyzing our challenges and designing PN’s new goals.
