Zests Pizzas THE RESERVES Thursday 10th April 2014 Dear Murrumbeena FC Community, Welcome to our weekly property update. So far this year, there have been about 17,500 auction and private sales in Victoria. This is about 3% higher than this time last year. Last Saturday Thomson successfully auctioned 29A Sussex Street, Brighton, for $2.3 million, suitably exceeding the vendor's reserve, and securing the buyer a lovely home to renovate over time. A crowd of 80 plus enjoyed proceedings as David took them for a trip down memory lane recanting Brighton as it was 42 years ago, when the vendors first moved to Brighton. This result endorses the Thomson selling strategy, that clever presentation and marketing coupled with transparent pricing ensures 100% of buyers, at this level, are engaged with the property. Opportunities abound locally with two Thomson properties ideally positioned for investors and home buyers. Priced to sell below $500,000 is a two bedroom villa unit in Coorigil Road, Carnegie and a two bedroom apartment in Malvern East. Both for sale privately - see more details below. Former Under 19s including Chris Kirk-Williams, Sam Moloney, Mitch Hendley, Cam Rundell, Dechlan Turkington and Daniel Chukwan joined the more experienced players including Shaun Thompson, Kane Downing, Andy Ellis, Adam Vanderneut, Shane Dennehy, Alex Moloney and Michael Leary. New recruits to the club who played included Chris Cairns, Addy Weitzer, Len Sacco and Geoff Martin. The first quarter was even with both teams playing well. Beena was able to open up a twenty point margin for both the second and third quarters. The fierce tackling of the Beena boys, exemplified by Andy Ellis bringing down the tallest opponent, rattled the Moorabbin men.
