This award is for excellence in civil engineering & and infrastructure development in the rail and metro sector, for Egis’s involvement in latest rail and metro projects including construction of new projects, stations, lines, doubling or track renewal projects. BU India along with consortium partners is currently working on Indian’s 1st elevated semi HSR Delhi-Meerut RRTS, where Egis is finalizing the technical parameters. Egis is delighted to be the Knowledge Partner of International Dam Safety Conference (IDSC)2019 IDSC is an initiative of the Central Water Commission, Government of India. The main assignments are as follows : The definition of technical parameters (SOD) for entire corridor of Delhi Meerut RRTS (rapid rail transit systems): gauge, tunnel dimensions, track structure, validation of traction power supply system, etc. Detail Design studies of 16 km of elevated viaduct, including foundations and superstructure; etc. Preparation of tender documents Supervision of Geotechnical surveys Support during construction In addition, Egis is responsible for the general coordination and administration of the contract.
