POSITION SUMMARY Position: Vice President of Sales Reports Directly to: President & CEO SUMMARY OF POSITION The Vice President of Sales func�ons as a strategic business leader of the Sales Department and is responsible for the overall sales efforts and opera�ons of the Sales Team. The principal responsibility of the VP is to administer the produc�on of a sales team to achieve specific annual objec�ves for the sale of hotel mee�ngs and the Arlington Conven�on Center. As a member of the leadership team, assists in developing and implemen�ng strategies that deliver return on investment in conven�on and tourism sales. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES The VP will shape the structure, opera�ons, and programming of Arlington’s sales departments with the ac�ve engagement of the hotel industry and Conven�on Center Management. The VP will develop annual produc�on goals for room night sales, leads and bookings. Effec�vely manage strategic tac�cs to maximize the Sales Budget and the produc�on goals of the Sales Team. The VP will have strong involvement in industry events and speaking engagements to con�nually promote Arlington.
