TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the San Diego Gulls tonight in the second game of a two-game, weekend series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face San Diego eight times this season, with four of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The Gulls lead the season series, 4-0. The Eagles are 0-0-1 against San Diego at the BEC after falling 2-1 in a shootout last night. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 5-5-2 all-time against the Gulls, including a 3-1-1 mark in games played at the BEC. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (12/13) – San Diego goaltender Kevin Boyle made 41 saves on 42 shots and denied both shooters that he faced in a shootout to help the Gulls defeat the Colorado Eagles, 2-1 on Friday. Jayson Megna scored the Eagles only goal on the night, while goalie Hunter Miska delivered another strong performance in net, denying 33 of the 34 shots he faced in 65 minutes of action.
