The Raiders, who just finished another tournament late Sunday night, were missing players and got off to a predictable slow start in the 9:00 am game. Meade retired the first 11 Raiders hitters with little trouble before a 4th inning walk. The Giants scored a run in the first inning when SS Brenton Cianci (Riverwood HS, Atlanta) singled and came all the way around on Central Florida wild pitches and passed balls. East Cobb added 2 runs in the second on an Rbi single by LF Anthony Fusco ('05, Lassiter HS, Marietta, GA) and a bases loaded squeeze by CF Chris House ('05, Pope HS, Marietta, GA).
