Many a traveller has been caught paying expensive cab fares after booking an early flight from this airport without investigating how to get there in time for check-in. Here’s what you need to know about getting to and from Stansted Airport: TUBE There is no Tube station servicing Stansted Airport. However, if you are travelling by the Stansted Express (see below) you will have to catch the Tube to Liverpool Street Station. The Tube runs from around 5am (remember that if you book a cheap 6am flight, you will need to check in at the airport at least one hour before your flight). One of the biggest operators is National Express, which operates a 24-hour service to and from London Victoria (and you can get a Tube from there to your Central London destination).
