STATUTORY DECLARATION I, Rosalie delacy of Walshes Manor, Walshes Road, CROWBOROUGH, East Sussex, TN6 3RB, England, solemnly and sincerely DECLARE as follows: 1. My name is Rosalie delacy. I was born in New Zealand and came to England in 1956. I have been performing religious duties at the Church of Scientology at Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 4Jy since 1966. 2. Prior to that I was on staff in the London Scientology Organisation. Here, I audited public and later was in charge of all the auditlng and later all the training. 3, I personally knew and worked beside the Founder of the Scientology Religion, L. Ron Hubbard. 4. At Saint Hill, at the beginning of the 1970s, I was in charge of Division 1 of the Church which covered such things as the communication in and out of the Organisation and the personnel and ethics records. After that I was in charge of the Technical Division. By this time I was well trained in the delivery of Scientology religious counseling and the running of the various sections of the organisation. 5. David Miscavige was here as a boy. I remember him as an auditor on the auditing Internship, auditing grown people. This is the activity of the Church of Scientology, 6. There were not many teenagers on the Internships and he was a young teenager, so easily remembered. The main attitude I had about David was that it was great to see someone of that age get through their basic training as an auditor and take people into session and do a good job of. auditing on them! I never heard any bad thing said about him as an auditor in any way. 7. As I was already well into my staff duties most of the time I didn't notice what he did outside of course time, However, as a senior in the technical area I would ceftainly have known if he was doing something strange or having bad social behaviour. This is because ethics is a factor in a Church of Scientology and these things would have been drawn to my attention. I heard of no such behaviour about David Miscavige. B. Since David Miscavige left Saint Hill and became a Sea Org member in America, I have seen less of him. But he comes to England every year now and I often bump into him and we catch up socially. On the last time he was at Saint Hill, he gave me a large bunch of flowers for my birthday with a card drawing my attention to the fact we had been friends for 40 years. Considering Mr. Miscavige's responsibilities, I felt it was an honour to be remembered on my birthday and to be regarded as a friend, 9. I take exception to what I know to be false and derogatory statements concerning the character of Mr. Miscavige and the work he does directing and leading the Scientology religion.
