Previously I was a Board member of The Park Federation which is a MAT. Currently, I am chairing the Baylis Court Trust, Wexham Court Primary School and also Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee for the Slough & East Berkshire MAT. I also chaired a working party that brought about The Schelwood MAT, encompassing Herschel Grammar School and Beechwood School. I have agreed to chair that Trust Board for the first year. I have project managed taking Baylis Court School to a converter academy and last year to a MAT. In 2005, I set up Slough Governors Association. I am a committee member of Slough Bursars’ Association and currently a member of Slough Forum. My main career was in banking (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers,) where I worked for 34 years and for the latter 12 years as a Bank Manager. I took early retirement when they were removing Bank Managers from the High Street. I then worked for the Medical Research Council setting up a finance section at Hammersmith hospital and in 1995 until 2009 was Business Manager at Herschel Grammar School when I finally retired.
