Bharatpur Railway station is generally used for avoiding long journey between Agra to Sawai Madhopur and many trains (Delhi-Mumbai and Agra-Jaipur route) stop at Bharatpur. Area Covered 28.73 km² Animals / birds The park is home to animals and about 400 species of birds. Every year thousands of migratory waterfowl visit the park for wintering and breeding. The sanctuary is one of the richest bird areas in the world and is known for nesting of resident birds and visiting migratory birds including water birds. It is also possible to take Cycling and walking tours within the sanctuary. Distance and driving Connected by surface from Lucknow (5 hour drive approx.) time Lucknow is connected with Delhi by regular ights and trains. Area Covered 490.3 km² Animals / birds Dudhwa National Park is a home for 38 species of mammals, 16 species of reptiles, 350 species of birds and 90 species of sh. The main araction of Dudhwa is swamp deer as half of the world's swamp deer live here. Apart from Swamp Deer, four more types of deer are found here: hog deer, spoed deer, barking deer and Sambar. Distance and driving Park is situated 40 km. southeast of Leh and Leh is connected by ights from Delhi, Srinagar time & Chandigarh. Area Covered 600 km² Animals / birds Hemis National Park is home to varieties of rare mammals and species. Bharal, snow leopard and Eurasian brown bear are the major araction. Other animals and birds include Tibetan argali, Ladakh urial, Pallas' cat, wolf, ibex, Himalayan snowcock, Himalayan grion, golden eagle, red-anked bluetail, red-mantled spoed forktail, chukar partridge, white and crown throated dipper, lammergeier, and streaked rosench.
