John 15: Jesus says “love one another as I have loved you.” Dear Friends in Christ, As I sit before our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and write this leer, I am so thankful to our Risen Lord that He has brought me here to be with all of you. Nothing happens by chance. And although the circumstances in my arrival here were not the most ideal, we believe that God has a plan in everything. When I met with Archbishop Lucas a couple of weeks ago and he assigned me as Administrator of St. Francis Borgia, I was very excited. In the summer of 1997, I visited Omaha for the ordinaon of a family Mary Nelson Sherry McBride friend. While here for the ordinaon, I was invited to give seminary a try. A er speak- G. & F. Marek family ing about it to my parents and praying about it for a month, I put my trust in God and Troy McCandless jumped in. Mary Ann Wenzl Helan Johnson I moved to Omaha in the fall of 1997, transferred to the University of St. Thomas in Eric Sorensen St. Paul, MN, and St. John Vianney College Seminary. A er graduang with a B.A. in Mike Hoefler Kiley Kastrup Journalism and a minor in Philosophy in 2000, I went on to the Ponfical College Jose- Grace Sorsoli phinum in Columbus, Ohio. By the grace of God, Archbishop Curss ordained me to Helen Herman the Holy Priesthood on June 5, 2004. Vince Kavanaugh Jason Smith My first assignment was as an Associate Pastor at St. Robert Bellarmine in Omaha. In Judy Quest Kevin Mann 2007, I was assigned as Associate Pastor at St. Columbkille Parish in Papillion, before Mary Ann Anderson moving to Hooper and Scribner as Pastor in 2011. Nathan Kocmik Sherry Pruss I am so grateful for the warm welcome that I have received in my first few days here. Although I have inially been assigned as Administrator, my hope Barbara Rican Luke Kollars is that I will be here long term with all of you. Jack Comstock Michael O’Hanlon In my inial conversaon with parishioners, some have shared that the parish is in Kasey Comstock need of healing and unity. By ourselves, this is not possible.
