Handover: The receiving from or transfering to another contractor of a complete operational system with all related equipment, controls, accessories, meters, protections, structures, manuals and warranties. The handover will include transfer of ownership, title and continuing obligations for the system from the prior contractor to the Contractor as specified in the Contract Documents. For any appurtenances that are the property of a third party public or private utility integral to the operating system being transferred, the transferring contractor will apply to that agency to initiate the transferring of all legal and commercial obligations to the follow-on contractor. The receiving follow-on Contractor shall then be responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of the entire system including the complete removal and/or disposal of the entire system for the full term of its contract. Replace General Conditions Article 1.01 II. “MACC Risk Contingency” with the following: 1.01 II. MACC Risk Contingency – A fixed amount specified in the GC/CM Construction Contract for use as set forth in Article 9.11 of these GC/CM General Conditions. The value of the risk contingency account was agreed upon during the MACC negotiations. The MACC Risk Contingency Account will only increase when RCW 39.10.385(9) is used to select a mechanical or electrical subcontractor and the work of that subcontractor is completed for less than the negotiated maximum allowable subcontract cost; in that case, any savings accrued will become part of the MACC Risk Contingency. The Resident Engineer will provide a list of project related contacts for coordination purposes at the Pre-Construction Meeting. The Resident Engineer will provide updates to the list if project related contacts change during the duration of the construction. 3. For street closures, notify post offices, major private delivery services and solid waste collection operators. E130- I-90 Heavy Construction: Work includes junction of the East Link with the existing Central Link, including two turnouts connecting the Eastbound (EB) and Westbound (WB) tracks of East Link with the Southbound (SB) and Northbound (NB) tracks respectively of Central Link just south of the International District Station (IDS). A turn-back track will be constructed between the Central Link mainlines at the IDS, connecting the south end to both mainlines. Work includes a trackway from IDS to just east of the East Channel Bridge (ECB) connection to Contract E320 on existing WSDOT infrastructure, comprising of D2, I- 90 center roadway, fixed bridges, HMH floating bridge, Mt. Baker and Mercer Island tunnels, and Rainier and Mercer Island stations. Work also includes the seismic retrofit
