The fresh cable need to be laid for providing reliable telecom services to the public as the existing cable has been badly damaged esp. due to road widening work etc. Proposal to lay the OF cable on this route was approved by BSNL Corporate Office, New Delhi after due recommendation by Circle Planning Board.
