Beginning at 9:00 a.m., 250 San Diego youth, including twenty (20) Toby Wells YMCA youth, ages eleven through fourteen, will take part in free, educational clinics and exercises focused on key infield, outfield, pitching, hitting and agility fundamentals. “The City of San Diego is honored to recognize Sports Authority with a City of San Diego proclamation for their philanthropic efforts and contributions to expanding America’s Favorite Pastime,” per Councilmember Chris Cate. “I am extremely pleased that Sports Authority chose families in District 6 to be the recipients of donors’ time, talent and treasures.” “Sports Authority is one of the nation’s largest full-line sporting goods retailers dedicated to providing customers with great values and great brands.
