Deenside currently supply several Police Services and the HMP In the design of this garment due respect has been paid to the basic health and safety requirements laid in annex II of the directive 89/686/EEC. To maximise the life, appearance and flame retardant quality of this garment, it is essential that the following cleaning instructions be followed. This garment can be washed in conventional washing machines. It is recommended that a wash temperature of 40oc be used. The wash programme used should be that for delicates with normal spin and rinses. If drying in a tumble dryer use a low heat setting. The following washing powders may be used to launder this garment; Ariel, Bold, Daz, Dreft, Surf, Persil system automatic, Fairy non-bio and all supermarket detergent washing powders. Soap powders must not be used as they can mask the flame retardancy of the garment by depositing lime soaps, e.g. Acdo, Fairy Snow, Lux Soap Flakes and Persil Soap Powder. In addition, bleach should not be used when laundering this product. When stored in original packaging in controlled store room temperature, the life of this garment is four years.
