Tip contributed by: Johnny Thigpen, Meds-by-Mail Print Screen of dialog boxes and windows sessions Oftenly, the ‘Print Screen/Sys Req’ and Ctrl+V key combination would enable us to capture the entire desktop screen. However, if we only want to capture an active dialog box or window session instead, the ‘Alt + PrintScreen’ and Ctrl+V combination should come in handy. Step 1: Single click your mouse cursor upon an active dialog box or an active window session Step 2: Concurrently depress the Alt key and the ‘Print Screen/Sys Req’ key once and release them. Step 3: Move your mouse cursor to the destination template (e.g., MS Word or MS Outlook message where you want to paste the screenshot), left-click it once, and then concurrently hit the Ctrl and V keys in order to paste it (alternatively, you can also right-click on either your MS Word document or Oulook message templates and select ‘Paste’ off the pop- up menu). The screenshots below are captured and pasted using the method described in this article.
