Examples: • RCMP for use of real property in the north by the Department of National Defence • RCMP for Department of National Defence assistance for vessel escort missions • Department of Fisheries and Oceans pertaining to surface ship patrols and aerial fisheries surveillance 8 1st Canadian Ranger Patrol Group Partnership Mechanisms • Service Level Agreement • Formal agreement between two or more that articulates the terms and conditions of a particular service relationship. • Articulates the expectations of the parties to the agreement. • Provides a mechanism for governance and issue resolution. • Acts as a scorecard against which to examine performance and results.
