All animals shot for bait are to be paid; even those not taken by the hunter himself. Upgrade Fees If the hunter wishes to hunt an animal that is not included in the list of allowed species, and if CAWA has quotas left of this species, it may be hunted for an upgrade fee. The upgrade fee is to be paid only if the hunter kills or wounds an animal. Trophy fees always have to be paid on top of the upgrade fees. NB! CAWA cannot guarantee that animals will be available on quota for upgrades. If it is important to the hunter to hunt a certain species, it should be reserved at the time of booking the safari.
