These diesel engine-powered boats are the cheapest and most commonly available mode of transport in the archipelago. 3 Ferry transportation is the best mode to Maldives, as the large percentage of the country is Sea. We need to develop reliable ferry transport system. 4 Land transport service will not be feasible except in few Islands. Regular taxi service is available in major cities. 5 Maldivian is flying to 14 Transportation for destinations (domestic 9 Tourist Resorts are and 5 International) with mainly carried out by Sea 11 fleets.
