If not why not? 4. is the activity of depositing material on Garth Isaf farm compatible with the Rhondda Cynon Taff Local Development Plan (LDP)? If so how is it compatible with the plan? 5. has there been any communication between the WRA and Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC and Natural Resources Wales in relation to this site? I have also provided some background information in Annex 2 on when a site should be registered with the WRA for Landfill Disposals Tax. Question 3: is Landfill Tax and Landfill Disposals Tax payable on the material that has been deposited on the site? If not why not? Information concerning Landfill Tax is not held by the Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA). Landfill Tax was administered by the HMRC in Wales prior to the introduction of Landfill Disposals Tax, which replaced Landfill Tax, as of 1 April 2018. Having considered the information available, I have decided that information is exempt from disclosure under section 44 of the Freedom of Information Act and is therefore withheld. This is on the basis that any such information is classed as confidential taxpayer information and is prohibited from being disclosed under section 17 of the Tax Collection Management (Wales) Act 2016. By way of background, I attach at Annex 2, an overview of Landfill Disposals Tax which provides details of how the tax works and in what circumstances someone might be liable to pay the tax. Question 4: is the activity of depositing material on Garth Isaf farm compatible with the Rhondda Cynon Taff Local Development Plan (LDP)? If so how is it compatible with the plan?
