He was a key initiator of criminal justice reform efforts in Louisiana that has led to successful, bipartisan endeavors to counter the cycle of recidivism. In October 2016, Kevin lost his courageous battle with cancer. LFF President, Gene Mills, made a pledge to continue the work Kevin began and is honored to recognize his legacy with the Kevin Kane Justice Award.
