The Cub Scouting advancement plan provides fun for the boys, gives them a sense of personal achievement as they earn badges, patches, arrow points, belt loops, and other awards and strengthens family understanding as adult family members work with the boys on advancement projects. </p><p></p><ul style="display: flex;"><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Advancement Plan Bobcat </strong></p><p>The Bobcat rank is for <strong>all </strong>boys who join Cub Scouting regardless of age. </p><p>The Bobcat Badge is earned by learning very basic cub scouting lessons (scout salute, scout handshake, scout motto, etc.). </p><p></p><ul style="display: flex;"><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Advancement Plan Tiger Cub </strong></p><p>There are five Tiger Cub achievement areas. Each area </p><p>has a Family Activity, a Den Activity, and a “Go See It” </p><p>Activity. Extra&nbsp;“Electives” or non-mandatory items can also be earned. </p><p>The Tiger Cub, working with his Adult Partner, completes 15 requirements within these areas to earn the Tiger Cub Badge. These consist of an exciting series of indoor and outdoor activities just right for a boy in the 1st grade. </p><p></p><ul style="display: flex;"><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li><li style="flex:1">Welcome to Cub Scouts </li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Advancement Plan Bear </strong></p><p>Bears have finished 2nd grade (or are age 9). There are 24 Bear Achievements in four categories. The Cub Scout must complete 12 of these 24 to earn the Bear Badge. The&nbsp;Achievements chosen are by the DL with some input by the parent(s).&nbsp;Like Wolf, extra activities count as Electives and Arrow Points. </p><p>These requirements are somewhat more difficult and challenging than those for Wolf rank. </p><p>Welcome to Cub Scouts </p><p><strong>Advancement Plan Webelos </strong></p><p>WE’ll BE LOyal Scouts Webelos is a two year program (Webelos I and Webelos II) for boys who have completed third grade (or are age 10).
