Take Thomasian The Welcome Walk is the program for freshmen, where the new students pass through the Arch of the Centuries, the original entrance to the University when the campus was still in Welcome Walk Intramuros. It is an event that symbolizes that like the illustrious alumni of the university, which include heroes, saints, leaders in society, and members of church hierarchy, the freshmen of AY 2008-2009 now walk through the same august arch. The program consisted of a parade where freshmen assembled for the historic passage through the Arch of the Centuries; Eucharistic Celebration at the UST Grandstand; and Post-Mass Program and an evening concert at the Plaza Mayor.
