For the first time ever, a special customer card integrated into this proven ticketing system will be in use. In collaboration with the General Coordinator of Cultural Capital 2007 and the local ticketing partner, Luxembourg Ticket, EVENTIM has developed the ‘Pass 2007’ system, a personal customer card valid for a whole year. This is just one way in which the company is bringing its technology leadership to the fore. Luxembourg is the first European city to bear the ‘Cultural Capital’ title for the second time, having been ‘European City of Culture’ back in 1995. The programme of events that Luxembourg will be presenting to the broader region in 2007 is accordingly large: in an area with more than 11 million inhabitants, more than 350 cultural projects are in planning, including music, theatre, exhibitions, workshops and much more besides. For a full year, ‘Pass 2007’ grants the bearer free entry to exhibi- tions, as well as a 20% price reduction for most stage events included in Luxemburg 2007. Pass holder rights are verified by the EVENTIM software as soon as tickets are purchased – not only at the box office, but also via the Internet.
