It was a year of ups and downs to say the least. Frustrating for both players and fans, even tougher for the person signing his name to the bottom of the line-up card. You probably won't get any predictions out of Roy on the 1982 Majors, but this year’s team looks strangely familiar to those of the early 70's: Excellent pitching, rich in experience, and plenty of hitting power.
