This issue consists of the latest updates on the leading and prestigious colleges in Maharashtra. It is the progress of the college from June 2019 to September reaccredited A+ grade with CGPA-3.55 and also recipient 2019. It's a great pleasure that we have successfully of the BEST COLLEGE and BEST PRINCIPAL awards. Teaching and non- teaching staff were present for the flag-hoisting. The flag was unfurled by one of the senior employes of the college. International Yoga Day Yoga day is celebrated every year on the 21st of June. This year, 5th International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2019 on the college ground. Around 200 students and staff members as well as citizens of Baramati participated in a 1 hr. mass yoga session inaugurated by Principal Dr. Chandrashekhar Murumkar. Prof. Ramchandra Jagtap conducted the session. Celebration of Foundation Day The college celebrated 57th Foundation Day of Anekant Education Society and the college on 24th June, 2019. Hon. Shri Arhatdas Shah (Saraf), President, Hon. Shri Jawahar Shah (Wagholikar), Secretary, Hon. Shri Milind Shah (Wagholikar), Hon. Shri Vikas Shaha (Lengarekar), members of the Governing Council, Principal Dr. Chandrashekhar Murumkar, Vice Principals, Registrar were the guest of honour. On that occasion, faculty members were felicitated for their achievements. All teaching and non teaching staff attended the function We For the Students 3 TCC Chronicle September 2019 Release of College Miscellany Anekant The college miscellany entitled Anekant, of the academic year 2018-2019, was released at the hands Hon. Shri. Arhatdas Shah (Saraf), President of AES, Hon. Shri. Jawahar Shah (Wagholikar), Secretary, AES, Hon. Shri. Milind Shah (Wagholikar), Hon. Shri. Vikas Shaha (Lengrekar) on the occasion of 57th Foundation Day of Anekant Education Society and the college on 24rd June, 2019. Dr. Seema Naik-Gosavi, spearheaded the responsibility as the Chief Editor of the yearly magazine. Induction Programme Student Induction Programme was organized for the entry level students of all faculties from 18th July to 20th July 2019. Students were made acquainted with autonomy of the college as well as various courses, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities run by the college. Principal, Vice Principal, Registrar, HoD and the Committee Heads addressed students. 75th Birthday Celebration of Hon. Shri Jawahar Shah-Wagholikar The college and other sister institutions run by Anekant Education Society celebrated 75th birthday of Hon. Shri. Jawahar Shah Wagholikar, Secretary, Anekant Education Society on 24th July 2019. On that occasion, Hon. Shri Arhatdas Shah (Saraf), President, Hon. Shri Milind Shah (Wagholikar), Hon. Shri Vikas Shaha (Lengarekar), members of the Governing Council, Principal Dr. Chandrashekhar Murumkar, Principal Dr. R. R. Kumbhar, Jaysingpur College, Dr. M. A. Lahori, Director, AIMS, Mrs. Rakhi Mathur, Principal, Anekant English Medium School as well as teaching and non teaching staff, family members, relatives and dignitaries from Baramati vicinity were present. Hon. Shri. Jawahar Shah Wagholikar was honored by various local bodies and eminent citizens of Baramati. We For the Students 4 TCC Chronicle September 2019 Competitive Exam Lecture by Dr. Avinash Dharmadhikari The Competitive Examination Cell of the college organized a special lecture of Dr. Avinash Dharmadhikari, former IAS officer and the Director of Chankya Mandal Pariwar on 15/07/ 2019. The programme was for both the parents and students. Hon. Shri. Milind Shah (Wagholikar) was the guest of honour. Principal Dr. C.V. Murumkar was the President for that event. It got an overwhelming response from the aspiring students of UG and PG. Dr. Samadhan Patil is the coordinator of the Competitive Exam Cell. Address by Uttam Kamble To create social awareness among students the Women Empowerment Committee of the college organized a lecture of senior journalist and writer Shri. Uttam Kamble on 26th July 2019. Prinicpal Dr. Chandrashekhar Murumkar was the president for the programme. More than 700 students attended the lecture. Celebration of Cargill Victory Day Department of Defense and Strategic Studies (senior and junior) and NCC unit celebrated 20th Cargill Victory Day on 26th July 2019. On that occasion, a poster presentation on war was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Chandrashekhar Murumkar and vice principal Dr. Sachin Gadekar. NCC cadets offered homage to the martyrs. A screening of war documentary was arranged for students. Prof. Devidas Bhasale, Prof. Ramkishan Awhad and Prof. Vivek Bale took efforts for this program. Book Lover's Club To inculcate reading habits among students an invited talk by Dr Ramchandra Sapkal was arranged on Veena Gavankar's book Ek Hota Karvhar on 4th September 2019. The activity was initiated under Book Lovers club which is headed by Dr. Sandeep Tapkir. We For the Students 5 TCC Chronicle September 2019 Syllabus Restructuring Workshop of Statistics Savitribai Phule Pune University and Department of Statistics jointly organized a one day workshop on "Syllabus Restructuring of Statistics and Computer Applications of Commerce Faculty" on Tuesday 21st May 2019. Total 64 participants from various colleges from Pune, Nashik and Ahmadnagar districts participated in the workshop.
