Present: Graham Irving (Chairperson) Jane Mortimer (Vice Chairperson) Dick Hoyle Maggie Keating Carolyn Watkinson Claudia Sutterby Virginia Ramsey (Parish Council Clerk) Members of the Public: Oliver Knight Matt Crossland Public Question Time Oliver Knight came to the meeting to inform the Parish Council about his plans to transform Bay Tree, which was a residential home for the elderly, into a recording studio. He will be in charge of setting up the project and running the studio. It will appeal to a wide range of people including bands, artists and schools. The building will be refurbished according to what is needed as a studio including sound proofing. It should be in demand as other such studios are very well used. Therefore bringing in people to use the studio should not be an issue. The Parish Council was interested in all Mr Knight had to say with regard to his plans and strongly encouraged him to take his application to North York Moors National Parks.
