THE FERRIS STATE SERIES: The Saints and Bulldogs will play a two-game series for the third time in the last four years when Ferris State visits Appleton Arena for this weekend’s match- ups. The Saints split at Ferris last year, winning game one 3-2, but dropping a 5-2 decision to the Bulldogs in the rematch. Ferris State swept the series the last time it was in Canton, winning 4-2 in game one and 5-1 in game two. Overall Ferris State leads the series 7-2-0 with the only other Siant win a 5-4 decision in 2008-09 at the Catamount Cup in Burlington. BROTHER ACTS: The Saints will not have a pair of brothers on the roster for the first time in ten years with the graduation of Greg Carey and the departmure of Matt Carey for the NHL after last season.
