This observatory will offer to academics and practitioners from Spain and other European countries a setting to discuss and analyze questions and tendencies related to federalism in Europe. The observatory has also the objective of disseminating best practices of federal and decentralized states and promoting scientific investigation in the field of federal studies. In this sense, the observatory pays attention to the different dimensions and aspects of federalism as a theoretical concept or as a subject of comparative studies.
