Josie Rourke Director Josie is the Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse, London. Josie was born and raised in Salford and read English at Cambridge before training under Sam Mendes at the Donmar Warehouse. She became trainee Associate Director at the Royal Court Theatre before taking up the role of Associate Director at Sheffield Theatres. Josie was appointed Artistic Director at the Bush Theatre, London in 2007 and during her tenure oversaw the acquisition and transfer of the theatre to its new home on the Uxbridge Road, winning Theatre of the Year 2011.
