The Regulations and Syllabus for B.Sc, Biochemistry, M.Sc Biochemistry and Allied Biochemistry Courses were discussed in the BOS. The Board of Studies appreciated the overall adoption ofthe Regulations prescribed by University of Madras. The Board of Studies approved the Regulations and Syllabus for B.Sc, Biochemistry, M.Sc Biochemistry and Allied Biochemistry Courses and recommended to the Academic Council of the college for the implementation of the same from the academic year 2020 2021. >The feedback given by the stakeholders on currieulum are considered in the revision of new syllabus to take effect from 2020 -2021 Based on the recommendations, suggested by the board of studies and stakeholders new topics like Cancer Biology, recombinant vaccines and new subjects like Genomics & Proteomics, Medicinal chemistry; Plant Physiology and Developmental Biology are included in the revised syllabus. 2 Signature of members: 1.
