A further 22% travels between Pretoria C BD a nd Sa ndton. From there c ommuters would ma ke use of other mea ns to get to their fina l destina tions. The la rge ma jority of c ommuters who ma ke use of the G a utrain, use it to get to a nd from the offic e. As more tha n 50% of G a utra in users ma ke use of priva te vehic les to get to a nd from the sta tion, it is a good indic a tion tha t these vehic les would ha ve been on the roa d, proba bly during pea k times.
