Patton Oswalt Stars in Animated 'Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.' 02.25.2021 Hulu presented one new original and two returning series at its turn at the virtual winter gathering of the Television Critics Association on Thursday. Patton Oswalt stars as megalomaniacal supervillain Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing (M.O.D.O.K.) in Hulu's new adult animated series Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. premiering Friday, May 21. Trying to rule the world proves to be tough business and M.O.D.O.K. has run his evil organization, A.I.M., into the ground. Ousted as the organization's leader while also dealing with his crumbling marriage and family life, M.O.D.O.K. has a lot on his plate. Besides Oswalt, the series also stars Melissa Fumero, Aimee Garcia, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ben Schwartz, Beck Bennett, Jon Daly and Sam Richardson. Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. is created and written by executive producers Jordan Blum and Oswalt. Brett Crawley, Robert Maitia, Grant Gish, Joe Quesada, Karim Zreik and Jeph Loeb also serve as executive producers. The Handmaid's Tale, starring Elisabeth Moss, returns Wednesday, April 28, with three new episodes to kick off a 10-episode season. In it, June (Moss) takes her place as a fierce rebel leader, taking on dangerous new challenges. Besides Moss, the series also stars Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford and Sam Jaeger. Besides Bryant, Shrill also stars Lolly Adefope, Ian Owens and John Cameron Mitchell. The series is executive produced by Ali Rushfield, who also serves as showrunner, along with Bryant, West, Rob Klein, Elizabeth Banks, Max Handelman, Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer.
