The Assistant Director of Central Survey Office had produced the the documents relating to the Town Survey Land Records, unit of Madras District. Perusal of the records showed that corrections have been carried out in red ink in survey numbers of 37/1 part and several other parts allegedly as per the orders of D.D.S.L.R_C2.6837/75. The signatures relate to 1967 and 1976. The authorities informed that the the original records as per which the corrections were made could be in the collecotrate of Chennai. Hence, the Assistant Director of Central Survey office is hereby directed to get the original record from the Collectorate, Chennai bearing the file No. DDSLR_C2.6837/75. Collector, Chennai should render all assistance to the Assistant Director of Central Survey Officer in this matter. The original record should be submitted before the Commission on 25.01.2012 @11.A.M. The Thasildar, Guindy- Mambalam Taluk Office has no further role to play in his matter and hece his presence is dispensed with.
