Visas are NOT required for the following nationals: Australia, Canada, European Union, and the United States. All other nationalities should check with the closest South Korean Consulate or Embassy. Note: The above list is subject to change at short notice; please check with the South Korean Consulate or Embassy closest to you before traveling. ACI Global Training will provide a letter of invitation upon payment of the registration fee. Please be sure to obtain your visa well in advance of your departure. Health requirements Vaccinations are not required. Local currency Won (KRW). Notes are in denominations of KRW50,000, 10,000, 5,000 and 1,000. Chon means ‘one thousand'. Coins are in denominations of KRW500, 100, 50 and 10. Foreign banknotes and traveller’s checks can be exchanged at foreign exchange banks and other authorized money changers. American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa are widely accepted at major hotels, shops and restaurants in the larger cities.
