BRIEF SUMMARY 1.0 SUMMARY M/s. Nithyasai Industries Limited is located at Sy. No: 66/1, 68/52,68/53, Konada Village of Pusapatirega Mandal in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. The industry proposes to establish a new unit for processing crude coal tar and melting of pitch in the Vizianagaram District which involves distillation of crude coal tar and melting of Pitch . 2.0 INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT/BACK GROUND INFORMATION NITHYASAI INDUSTRIES LTD., is a Private Limited company which specializes in the manufacture of ‘Coal-Tar Pitch’ and other value added products from the distillation of ‘Crude Coal-Tar’. On assessing the potential demand for derivatives of Crude-Coal Tar and their wide range of applications in different industries, Nithya Sai Industries Ltd., was founded in the Year 2002-2003 by Mr. S.P.R.Raju along with his brother Mr. S.P.P.R.N.R.Varma. It has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. In a short span of time M/s Nithya Sai Industries Limited has become one of the largest suppliers of ‘Coal-tar Pitch’ to the Aluminum Industry in India. It started with a turnover of Rs.3 Crores in the Year 2003-2004 and achieved a turnover of Rs.55.57 Crores during the Year 2017-18. M/s. NITHYASAI INDUSTRIES LIMITED proposed to establish another new unit at Konada Village, Pusapatirega Mandal, Vizianagaram District to produce coal tar pitch. The plant located in land bearing survey no. 66/1, 68/52, 68/53. The industry accorded CFE vide order No. 9324-VZM/PCB/ZO-VSP/CFE/2015 Dt:22.07.2015 and received CFO for Coal tar pitch product vide order no.9324/APPCB/ZO-VSP/VZN/CFO/W&A/2015-636 Dt: 24.10.2018. Construction had started for only melting plant and for remaining products attracts Environmental Clerance under the section 4(b) (ii) Coal Tar processing units and we are processing for Environmental Clearance. .
