Pike square: This troop do not block the line of sight of any Namban troop placed within 5 cm of its rearback. Also, those behind troops can trespass the pikemen with a movement as long as they are completely trespassed. Any namban troop that declare a Combat Order through the pikemen apply -1 to its Combat Roll or Shoot Roll. ie: If an arquebusier unit shoot through the pikemen, they apply -1 to its Shoot Roll. Healer: This troop can use a unused Action Order to remove one wound marker from itself or any allied troop within 10 cm from the healer. That used order is removed and cannot be used to any other action during this turn. 3 Kensei Namban and wako alpha rules Blood debt: This troop apply +1 to its Combat roll against any enemy troop that previously, at any point of the game, caused one or more casualties to this troop. Elite formation: This troop can change from closed formation to open formation (skirmishers) when activating this ability. This troop can only change this ability if activate this ability again in later turns. If this troop acts as skirmishers, it acquires the Fast (PA) ability (+1D6 cm to any movement) Mounted shooter: This troop ignores short distance penalty for long distance range weapons. Also, apply -1D6 to its Shoot Roll if this troop has moved this turn before performing the shoot, Sleeves: When this troop moves, any pikemen or halberdiers troops within 10 cm from this troop, without any Used Unit marker, can move in the same direction of this troop. When this troop perform a non-movement order or finish its activation, the troops that moves with it also finish their activation and get a Unit Used marker. Musician: Must be always placed within a unit and do not add any die to the Combat Roll. That unit can reroll once any Honor or Order Roll as long as the roll was not 1. Heavy: This troop applies +1 to its Combat Roll when charging. Never can apply the +1D6 bonus when running or charging. Titles Tercio A Tercio never surrender, they ignore any penalty when the army general dies as long as there is another hero alive between the Namban troops. Old Tercio They have the same bonus than a normal tercio and also can automatically use the Temper (PA) ability. Priest A priest can inspire the soldats in different ways. When activating a priest you must decide which litany is singing: ● Letanía of hate: The enemy is pagan and must be destroyed. The selected troop add +1D6 to their Combat Roll when charging. ● Letanía of courage: Soldats do not fear death. The selected troop cannot be forced to perform any Honour Roll. ● Letanía of death: The selected troop is forced to add +5 cm to any movement. ● Letanía of salvation: The selected troop must receive 3 Stunned Marker to receive an extra wound. The priest must indicates which troop is going to be affected by the litany (cannot be the priest himself) when he is activated. The troop must be within 10 cm of an elite priest or 20 cm from a hero priest. The litany effect will finish when the turn ends. 4 Kensei Namban and wako alpha rules Raw recruit Nothing yet. Commander orders A namban commander can use one of these orders once per game. ¡For santiago* and for the king! Every hero, troops leaded by a hero or troops within 10 cm of a hero add +1 to its Combat Roll after a charge and apply +1D6 to any movement until the end of the turn This order must be declared just at the beginning of the Activation Phase. *santiago is a saint Fire rain You can activate two ranged weapons at once in order to shot against the same target. These two troops cannot have any Unloaded Marker or Used Unit marker. Perform the Order Roll separately (one for each troop) but they only will be able to receive these orders: Shoot and Reload (in that sequence). A troop only will be able to reload if it got two orders. After using every Action Orders both units receive a Used Unit marker. These two orders can be declared at any moment during the Activation Phase. New weapons ● Type 8 - Pistols: ○ It is considered a short range firearm. ○ Can repeat, just once per charge, any 1 of the Combat roll when the troop charge or receive a charge. Rapine: This troop can take, if the player wants so, the weapons of any enemy troop which flees or have been completely removed within 5 cm or less from this troop. From that moment on this troop will choose to use their original weapons or the enemy weapons taken. Titles Pirate PIrates do not suffer any movement penalty when crossing difficult terrain related to water (rivers, mud, rice fields, etc.), although they still cannot run over them. Pirates have automatically these abilities: Rapine (PA) and Cheater (PA). Bandit Pirates have automatically these abilities: Rapine (PA). Bandits must roll 2D6 and took the higher roll when are forced to perform a Honor Roll and the unit has no leader or there is not a leader within 15 cm. Katai mercenary These mercenaries have sees many places around the world and known about many undiscovered combat tactics.
