Dear Future Star, I am very pleased to inform you have been selected to play in the 12th Annual “Future Stars” Kentucky vs. Tennessee Future Stars Classic. The game will be played Saturday, June 19th location is TBD in the Middle TN area(game day and ticket will be announced on the website in the coming weeks). You will be asked to report to camp in TN on Wednesday, June 16th – specific time, location, and check- in info will be posted later this month on the website. If you are an overnight camper, you will be expected at ALL times to remain in camp and attend all practices, meetings, and any other team events. IF there is a family emergency that forces you to leave camp that is understandable; having to attend a baseball or basketball game does NOT fall in the “emergency” category. Get that worked out before you attend! There is a team fee (detailed information found on separate attachments). Players depart with their families AFTER the game. Players are responsible for their own equipment (helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, pant pads (or girdle), practice pants, belt, cleats) we will provide Practice Jersey, Game Jersey & Game Pants (on a different attachment you will get a list of EVERYTHING you will need). Our game pants are slotted so please don’t bring “snap” in pant pads. Players must bring girdle and knee pads for the game pants. Players and families will have the option to buy a few “extras” (be sure to check the Optional Items attachment). Parents, family, etc. can purchase Tennessee Future Stars gameday t-shirts with team roster printed on the back of the shirt, which you can wear on game day to show your support for Team Tennessee. These items MUST be pre-ordered! These items are NOT mandatory to purchase. Lastly, if money is an issue then get out and do some individual fundraisers. Possibly your coach, family, church, school, booster club, local business can help you raise the needed funds. In past we’ve had players get “sponsors” (by the people mentioned above), this event is a big deal (your selection) so people are always willing to help! If you decide NOT to attend please inform us immediately so we can give your roster spot to an alternate. All players are expected to be on their very best behavior at all times. You are representing your family, school, community, city & state. Don’t let anyone down! 3. No guests will be permitted in the athlete’s room. 4. Overnight campers MUST stay in their assigned rooms. 5. Do not bring any expensive items that can be lost or stolen. It is your fault if that happens! 6. You will be expected to be VERY respectful to ALL coaches, directors, teammates, etc. 7. NO Fighting, NO Drugs, NO Weapons, NO Alcohol, NO Foul Language, NO Stealing Property that doesn’t belong to you! NO bullying, NO making “fun” of anyone! 8. Wear your clothes the way they're made to be worn; NO sagging. 9. If you damage and/or break anything you will be responsible for replacing it!! 10. Lights out means lights out! No walking around campus at night un-attended! 11. Nothing but your VERY best effort, behavior, etc will be accepted. If you loaf at practice you will NOT play! PLAYING TIME: This year we have selected more players than any previous year. All players will receive playing time, not equal amounts, but everyone will play. Your gameday snaps are earned in practice, based on performance. These coaches will do a great job in ensuring your son has a great OVERALL experience. Do NOT question the coach’s judgment, this is an ALL-STAR game it is not treated the same way as a regular-season game.
