The CFPB and BASEL III The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has been busy; it has issued proposed regulations on the qualified mortgage and qualified residential mortgage, as well as those that will affect loan originators. In addition, the CFPB has released its proposed combined TILA and RESPA Disclosure Forms: the Loan Estimate and the Closing Disclosure.
