Supporng this, our own procedures include the following: Emergency closure occur whilst school is in session: The Headteacher will nofy Governors and the Local Authority that the school will close. The LA will inform local radio staons An email and automated telephone call will be sent to parents to nofy them of the school closure Using student mobile phones or the school administrave phones, we will aempt to make contact with all parents/carers to grant permission to release their children from school. Should we be unable to make contact with parents/carers: Students whose parent/carer has signed the consent form to release their child to go home in the case of an emergency school closure (below) will be released from school Students whose parent/carer has not signed the consent form will not be permied to go home unl direct telephone contact has been made between the tutor and parent. (This may delay student departure from school and transport home on service buses) Parents/carers will be informed via email, the school website and radio announcement regarding further closure days. This year's theme ' A Different Perspecve' We have a great track record as a school and we know there are many imaginave, original photographers out there. Every year we look forward to seeing your entries. You need: 3 photos in high resoluon on 'A Different Perspecve' ‐ Phone photos are fine but make sure it's on highest resoluon sengs and don't apply Instagram filters please or make sure you have also saved the original. Photographs which include people under 18 years old must be accompanied by wrien permission from the parent, guardian, or carer of the person for those photographs to be submied ‐ A simple handwrien note is fine. It needs to name subject and photographer (you) Judges will consider technical merit; content and composion; imaginaon and style. The winners of our local heat will be submied to our district compeon covering Devon and Cornwall, and the best entries in that compeon will be forwarded to compete naonally.
