Each boat takes up to three paddlers and they are a great way to travel and see the lake and share the experience with friends. Each Kata Kanu can hold a maximum of five parꢀcipants. These boats are extremely stable and are great fun. Each bell boat holds a maximum of 10. Build a raſt – test those knots and then race it on the lake! It’s a great way to have fun and learn new skills. Modern boards and sails have revoluꢀonised learning to windsurf. Taster sessions focus on having fun with board games on the water, followed by step-by-step tuiꢀon on our land-based simulator, progressing on to pracꢀsing afloat. Can be used to gain RYA or NSSA awards. </p><p>Drascombe Sailing (Suitable for Non-Swimmers) </p><p><strong>Number of Parꢀcipants </strong>40 max per day<sup style="top: -0.3052em;">* </sup><strong>Age/Swimming Ability Raꢀo Timescale </strong></p><p>From 8 years 1:10 or 1:5 for non-swimmers </p><p>1–2 ½ hours </p><p>This stable boat can allow groups of students to enjoy the experience of sailing as a team. Anyone can quickly pick up the basic skills. As the skills are straighꢂorward the group will quickly progress. Once the basic skills are mastered, touring, racing and games beckon! These boats are suitable for all abiliꢀes, but especially beginners. The sessions will build water confidence and develop sculling skills, with plenty of fun and games.
