The First Sunday of Lent February 21, 2021 An Act of Spiritual Communion My Jesus, I believe that Thou art present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love Thee above all things and I desire Thee in my soul. Since I cannot now receive Thee sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though Thou wert already there, I embrace Thee and unite myself wholly to Thee; permit not that I should ever be separated from Thee. Amen. - St. Alphonsus Liguori St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church “The things that we love tell us what we are” ~ St. Thomas Aquinas Mass Schedule - Live Stream Mass Schedule Join us on the front page of our website Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 a.m. & 12:15 p.m. for our new Streamspot Livestream Thursday: 12:15 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. (Latin) 4th Sunday of Easter Saturday:May 10:00 7, 2017a.m. & 5:30 p.m. (Anticipated Vigil) Personal Church Prayer First Saturday: 10:00 a.m. (Extraordinary Form) - February 6 M,T,W,F: 9:00a.m.—7:00 p.m. Sunday: 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. (Latin) & 5:00 p.m. Thursday: 1:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 p.m.—5:00 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration & Benediction Thursdays: 6:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. Confessions Saturdays: 4:00 p.m.—5:00 p.m. Monday—Friday, except Tuesdays: 6:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. Saturday: 4:00 p.m.—5:00 p.m. First Fridays: Divine Mercy Holy Hour—7:00 p.m. No Confessions on Tuesdays First Saturday: Holy Hour of Reparation: 8:30 a.m. Contact Information The Parish Office is open Monday—Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For Father Matthew Codd: [email protected] For Father Matthew Bean: [email protected] Please Take Me Home! They have been supporting mothers and fathers in need with counseling, supplies, education, and emotional support as their clients navigate their unplanned pregnancy. This Lent, our Religious Education classes are supporting GATE as a part of the Lenten practice of almsgiving. We invite you to do the same. GATE has informed us that they are expanding their Concord offices and will be offering ultrasounds for their clients! Your financial support will help with updating their new space and covering the cost of purchasing the new medical equipment. There are many ways to give: 1. We had 400 bottles passed out last spring, but less than 100 returned. If you still have a baby bottle from last spring, you can fill it with coins, bills, or checks, and you can return it to the parish office or the Narthex on Palm Sunday, March 28. 2. You may take a small envelope from the Narthex beginning the First Sunday of Lent on February 21, fill it with coins, cash, checks, or gift cards, and return it to the parish office or the Narthex on Palm Sunday, March 28. 3. You may donate directly online through their website: https://friendsofgate.org/donate 4. You may donate gift cards to Sam’s Club or Wal-Mart so they can continuously purchase supplies for their clients. 5. You may purchase an unused breast pump to donate to the facility.
