Christian Yelich recorded his 50th multi-hit game, tying his career high (also, 2014 and 2016). Yelich also scored his 100th run in the fifth. With Yelich, Giancarlo Stanton (123), and Dee Gordon (114), Miami had three players with 100-plus runs for the second time in Club history (also, 2006; Hanley Ramirez-119, Miguel Cabrera-112, Dan Uggla-105). Ozuna hit his 37th home run, a solo shot in the seventh. His 37 home runs this season tied Stanton (2012 & 2014) for the third-highest single-season total in Club history. Stanton finished the year with an MLB-best 132 RBI, becoming the first Marlin ever to lead the Majors in RBI. Ozuna (124) finished third, making the Marlins the first team since the 2005 Red Sox (David Ortiz & Manny Ramirez) to have two players finish in the top three in MLB in RBI, and the first NL teammates since George Foster and Joe Morgan (1-2, respectively) to do so since 1976. - Elias Braves Notes: Atlanta completed its 36th comeback win, and won the season series against Miami 11-8. Dansby Swanson hit a go-ahead single in the seventh, his 13th go-ahead and eighth game-winning RBI. Adonis Garcia hit a three-run home run in the seventh, marking his second career pinch-hit homer (last, Sept. 12, 2015 vs. NYM). Kurt Suzuki hit a two-run homer in the third, his career-best 19th, and extended his hitting streak to a season-high eight games (.424/14x33). Lane Adams singled in the seventh to extend his career-high hitting streak to six games (.318/7x22). Freddie Freeman finished the season with a .403 on base percentage, becoming the third qualifying Braves player since 1966 to post an OBP of .400 or better in consecutive seasons, and first since Chipper Jones achieved the feat from 1998-2003 and 2007-2008. Max Fried was the first Braves rookie to start the final game of the season since Matt Wisler in 2015 and the first rookie left-hander since Damian Moss in 2001.
