He will deal kindly with consultation when you are in trouble with research. His favorite sport is baseball, and He is a fan of Chunichi Dragons. Research Content Mechanical Control means “Controlling the motion of system”. It is core technology for a robot, automotive, motor, etc. Our laboratory focuses on “Control” and we study about to control the motion such as the robot, automotive, haptics, and motor-drive system. In these researches, we carry out Electrical the numerical simulation using MATLAB and PSIM as well as the consideration and analysis of this theory. As the results, we verify the effectiveness of our theory by experiments. There are a lot of collaborative research with a company and we participate many conferences every year. Experimental equipment of industrial robot Materials A Day in the Lab Civil Core time is 9:30 to 17:30. You can discuss with laboratory member older than you whenever you are in trouble with research. Laboratory schedule is as follows. 9:30 Morning assembly, including sharing any information 9:30〜 Studying required knowledge for each research fields, simulation and experiment Bioengineering 12:00〜 Lunch time 13:00〜 Activities similar to the morning 17:30〜 Dinner time. Free time. You may go home or be keeping research. People who control plasma would rule the world‼ Have you ever felt plasma⁉ Associate Professor / Takashi KIKUCHI, Associate Professor / Toru SASAKI, and Supervisor Assistant Professor / Kazumasa TAKAHASHI Plasma dynamics laboratory is organized by Dr. Kikuchi who likes Gundam, Dr. Sasaki who likes a sauna, and Dr. Takahashi who likes mountain climbing. Professors provide us a lot of knowledge and advice because the field of expertise of each professor is different. They kindly help us about research, our career, and our life. Mechanical Research Content Plasma is a fourth state of matter following solid, liquid, and gas. Familiar examples of plasma are flame, lightning, sun, an aurora, and a light of a fluorescent. Plasma has high energy compared with general gas, and has a characteristic Electrical of responding to electric field and magnetic field. Our laboratory works at many physics and engineering issues by generating and controlling plasma appropriately. We have currently performed studies on advanced power generator and thruster with magnetohydrodynamics, high energy density physics using a pulsed-power discharge, engineering applications of atmospheric pressure plasma, beam physics Materials using numerical simulations, and so on. Atmospheric pressure plasma for ozone generation A Day in the Lab Civil This Laboratory has two faculty staffs and more than 40 students. Therefore, there are always anyone in the lab, you can always talk. If you need help, you can get various advice. Events such as futsal sports competitions, welcome parties and year-end parties are also held, so you can live a University life surrounded by many friends. Also, it Bioengineering is possible to concentrate on research at any time of your choice because the core time has not been decided. So it is easy to switch between research and private. Do Your Best ! Powerful Positive Active Power Electronics ! Professor / Jun-ichi ITOH Supervisor His policy is to do his best for both of research and playing. If we have problems about research, he always accepts to discuss technical issues with us. Also, he attends to our events aggressively. So he is so close to laboratory's members. Research Content Mechanical Recently, Power Electronics is an important key to problems of global warming and nuclear power generation. Power Electronics is technique to utilize electrical energy efficiently. It is applied for wide field such as industrial machines, electrical vehicles and home appliances. Electrical In Itoh laboratory, we are doing research about power converter, motor drive, wireless power transmission, smart grid for renewable energy, energy storage and so on. Our laboratory is leading technique of evolving Power Electronics. Matrix converter Materials (I made this one from scratch. ) A Day in the Lab Civil AM : After morning assembly, I do simulation and theoretical analysis to contrive a novel method. Noon break : we often eat lunch with laboratory's members. After lunch, some members play football to refresh their moods for research. P.M. : I made a main circuit and a controller to do experiments. Some members write paper for upcoming conferences until Bioengineering late. Others continue to do experiments. It's important to take enough rest in the evening so as to be active. Our Laboratory has many labmate at the toughest time. Let's control various machines and complex mechanism ! Let's talk about the progress of today ! Professor / Toshimasa MIYAZAKI Supervisor Miyazaki is a teacher from our university. has been working at the University since 2010 and the Mechatronics Laboratory was started. In the laboratory, the exchange of opinions and information between students is especially important, the teacher also Respond to consultation kindly. Mechanical Research Content Mechatronics is the fusion of machinery (mechanics) and electricity (electronics) and the field of control engineering. In modern times, mechanical and electrical elements are inseparable. For example, when moving a robot arm, the Electrical movement of the arm requires a mechanical element, and the motor for driving force requires an electric element. Currently, our laboratory is studying about electric tillers, industrial AC motors, DC/DC converters, quadruped walking robots
