Connections to Heidelberg mostly take 1 hour and have one change in Mannheim. Regular tickets for fast connections (2nd class) cost 26€ excl. seat reservation. For cheaper prices you can book specific trains in advance (Sparpreis). https://www.bahn.com/en/view/index.shtml by airport shuttle, e.g. Frankfurt Airport Shuttle, which leaves directly from terminal 1 and goes to Crowne Plaza Hotel in Heidelberg about every 2 hours. Main junctions are Hauptbahnhof (main station) and Bismarckplatz which is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone in the old town of Heidelberg.
