MINUTES The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 4 September 2014 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair. 2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST Councillors and officers were invited to declare any interest which they had in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting. The following interests were declared:- Personal and Prejudicial Interests Councillor Interest Andrew Bispham Plan no. 55483 for the construction of five no. cottages with associated car parking, landscaping and boundary treatment at the former Church Street Garage, Church Street as the applicant’s architect had carried out some work on his behalf. Councillor Bispham left the meeting during the consideration of this item and took no part in the discussion or vote. Hazel Lees Plan no. 55772 for the demolition of existing school buildings and erection of new three storey teaching block, replacement all-weather pitch with flood lighting, extension and refurbishment of Sports Hall and associated parking, landscaping, fencing, external lighting and hardsurfacing at Werneth High School, Harrytown, Bredbury as a member of the Governing Body of Werneth High School. Councillors Lees left the meeting during the consideration of this item and took no part in the discussion or vote. 3. URGENT DECISIONS No urgent decisions were reported. 4. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME No public questions were submitted. Planning and Highways Regulation Committee - 9 October 2014 5. SITE VISITS The Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing recommendations made by the Visiting Team on Monday, 6 October 2014. RESOLVED – That the report be noted. 6. DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS Development applications were submitted. (NOTE: Full details of the decisions including conditions and reasons for granting or refusing planning permission and imposing conditions are given in the schedule of plans. The Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration is authorised to determine conditions and reasons and they are not therefore referred to in committee minutes unless the committee makes a specific decision on a condition or reason. In order to reduce printing costs and preserve natural resources, the schedule of plans is not reproduced within these minutes. A copy of the schedule of plans is available on the Council’s website at www.stockport.gov.uk/planningdecisions. (ii) DC055483 - Former Church Street Garage, Church Street, Marple In respect of plan no. 55483 for the construction of five no. cottages with associated car parking, landscaping and boundary treatment at the former Church Street Garage, Church Street, Marple, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (iii) DC055658 - 1A Elms Road, Heaton Moor, Stockport In respect of plan no. 55658 for the demolition of existing bungalow, carport and garage and replacement with two new houses at 1A Elms Road, Heaton Moor, Stockport, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (vi) DC054662 - Kelton, Higher Cliffe, Strines In respect of plan no. 54662 for the demolition of existing dwelling and redevelopment to provide replacement dwelling at Kelton, Higher Cliffe, Strines, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (vii) DC055571 - 1 Knowsley Road, Offerton In respect of plan no. 55571 for a three storey side extension at 1 Knowsley Road, Offerton, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (viii) DC055649 - Low Bank Cottage, Pinfold Lane, Romiley In respect of plan no. 55649 for a single storey side extension and two storey rear extension at Low Bank Cottage, Pinfold Lane, Romiley, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (ix) DC055844 - 11 Camberley Close, Bramhall In respect of plan no. 55844 for the construction of one 'Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4' detached house at 11 Camberley Close, Bramhall, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (x) DC055881 - 28 Scholars Drive, Edgeley In respect of plan no. 55881 for a single storey side extension at 28 Scholars Drive, Edgeley, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. (xi) DC055946 - 161 Stanley Road, Heald Green In respect of plan no. 55946 for a single storey extension to the rear and two storey extension to the side and internal alterations at 161 Stanley Road, Heald Green, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. Planning and Highways Regulation Committee - 9 October 2014 (xii) DC055959 - 29 Rosefield Close, Adswood In respect of plan no. 55959 for a single storey outbuilding to rear at 29 Rosefield Close, Adswood, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. DC056269 - 213 Woodford Road, Woodford In respect of plan no. 56269 for the remodelling of the front of the existing detached dwelling, including a new porch and bay window and rendering of the building at 213 Woodford Road, Woodford, it was RESOLVED – That planning permission be granted. 7. APPEAL DECISIONS, CURRENT PLANNING APPEALS AND ENFORCEMENTS A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committees.
